About the role:
We are looking for skilled Pastry Sous Chefs to join our Lina Cucina team. You will craft a variety of pastries and desserts, ensuring that every item embodies the authenticity and quality that define Lina Stores. As part of a supportive team, you will have the opportunity to develop your craft, contribute new ideas, and take responsibility for upholding our high standards. Your passion for Italian pastries and attention to detail will be essential in delivering outstanding products that bring people together.

Role responsibilities:

  • Prepare and decorate pastries, cakes, and tarts using traditional and modern Italian recipes.
  • Develop new desserts that capture the essence of Italian cuisine.
  • Maintain ingredient stock and oversee kitchen organization alongside all relevant paperwork.
  • Ensure presentation and quality meet our exacting standards.
  • Working alongside the Head of Pastry to keep high standards day to day and assure efficient working practices on his absence.
  • Support and motivate pastry assistants.
  • High communication skills.
  • Past experience overseeing junior staff.
