We are seeking an experienced Pasta Chef to join our team at Lina Stores!

We are an Italian delicatessen and restaurant with locations across London and Manchester. First established in 1944, Lina Stores is renowned for its fresh, handmade pasta, artisanal meats, cheeses, antipasti, and many other authentic products — all imported directly from Italy!

Our restaurants offer guests the opportunity to enjoy our freshly made pasta and traditional Italian dishes, crafted with the finest ingredients. We take pride in delivering high-quality, authentic Italian cuisine, with a dedicated kitchen team ensuring consistency and excellence in every dish.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Pasta Chef, you will play a vital role in cooking our fresh pasta in our open kitchen, following our established standards and recipes to deliver the highest quality dishes. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Cooking fresh pasta to perfection in a fast-paced, open-kitchen environment

• Ensuring consistency in taste, texture, and presentation of all pasta dishes

• Following established recipes and portion guidelines to maintain quality standards

• Maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety

• Coordinating with the Head Chef and the kitchen team to ensure smooth service

• Managing stock levels of pasta and sauces to support efficient service

YOU ARE:

• Experienced in a similar role – You have worked as a Pasta Chef or in a high-volume kitchen cooking fresh pasta.

• Passionate about Italian cuisine – You take pride in crafting authentic and delicious pasta dishes.

• Detail-oriented – You understand the importance of timing, consistency, and presentation.

• A team player – You thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working alongside others.

• Organized and efficient – You can handle multiple orders simultaneously while maintaining quality.
