ABOUT THE ROLE – BAR ASSISTANT MANAGER

As Bar Assistant Manager, you will support the Bar Manager in leading daily bar operations, ensuring exceptional cocktail quality, service standards, and team performance. You’ll be hands-on during service, leading by example and helping create memorable guest experiences.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the Bar General Manager with day-to-day bar operations and service

• Leading shifts and ensuring smooth, high-energy cocktail service

• Training, mentoring, and motivating the bar team

• Delivering consistently high-quality cocktails with a focus on Italian spirits, aperitivi, and digestivi

• Assisting with stock management, ordering, and cost control

• Maintaining excellent Health & Safety and Food Hygiene standards

• Driving guest engagement through warm hospitality and attention to detail

• Supporting menu execution and contributing ideas for cocktail development

You’ll also have access to ongoing development opportunities, including WSET and mixology training, supporting your progression within Lina Stores.

IDEAL CANDIDATE – WHO YOU ARE

• An experienced Bar Assistant Manager or Senior Bartender ready to step up

• Passionate about cocktails, hospitality, and guest experience

• Knowledgeable about Italian spirits, aperitivi, and digestivi

• A confident leader who enjoys training and developing others

• Organised, reliable, and calm in fast-paced environments

• Creative, with an eye for quality, consistency, and presentation

• Committed to maintaining high Health & Safety standards
