HEAD CHEF IN LINA STORES

As a Head Chef, you will be responsible for leading a busy, high-performing kitchen, ensuring quality, consistency, and authentic Italian food standards at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Kitchen Management: Oversee daily kitchen operations, including staff supervision, rotas, and training
  • Food Quality & Standards: Deliver consistently high-quality Italian dishes, ensuring presentation and taste meet company standards
  • Team Leadership: Train, mentor, and develop chefs and kitchen staff
  • Stock Control & Cost Management: Manage food costs, stock levels, and reduce waste
  • Menu Collaboration: Work with senior management and development kitchen (Lina Cucina) on menus and specials
  • Food Safety & Hygiene: Maintain high standards in line with UK food safety regulations.

 Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef in a high-volume restaurant
  • Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine and fresh pasta (preferred)
  • Experience managing kitchen teams, rotas, and stock control
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (minimum)
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
